Membership Vows *
Do you confess that you are a sinner justly deserving hell and without hope of gaining forgiveness of your sin or entrance into heaven apart from the sovereign mercy of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Have you trusted Jesus Christ to be the Son of God and Savior of sinners, and have you received him alone for your salvation acknowledging him as your supreme Master and Lord.
Do you promise to be a faithful member of the flock of God at New Covenant Church; and trusting in the gracious enablement of the Holy Spirit, seek to live like a follower of Christ as directed by the word of God, honoring Christ in all of your relationships, supporting his bride the church through prayer, Bible study, regular attendance upon worship, tithing of your financial resources, and unselfish Christian service.
Knowing that Christ, the Head of the church, has given authority to the elders to rule his church according to his Word, do you humbly submit to the government and discipline of the church, and promise to strive for its purity and peace.

Your Biographical and Contact information
By Profession of Faith in Jesus Christ - If you have not been an active member of a local church since coming to a saving knowledge of Christ Jesus, then you would unite with the church by professing your faith in Christ Jesus and affirming the membership covenant.
By Reaffirmation of your Faith - If you are a member of another particular church but have not been an active participant in that church for more than one year, you would unite with us by reaffirming your faith and repentance in Christ and by reaffirming the membership covenant.
By Transfer from Another Church - If you have been active in the ministry of another Christian Church until recently, you may unite with New Covenant by transferring your membership. After you meet with the elders to affirm your membership covenant, they will write your former church for transfer of your membership letter.
By Associate Membership - If you will be temporarily residing in New Covenant's geographic area, not considering New Covenant your permanent church home, you may become an associate member of New Covenant in Anderson, South Carolina without ceasing to be a communicate member of your home church. Your membership will cease with us with your move from Anderson. It becomes effective when you meet with our elders to affirm the membership covenant.
